Television has become a prevalent medium in modern society and has been increasingly recognized for its potential to enhance education. This research project aims to investigate the role of television in advancing education in nursery and primary schools, with a specific focus on Ifo Local Government Area (LGA). The study will employ a case study methodology to delve into the impact of television on educational outcomes in these educational settings. The significance of this research lies in the potential benefits that television can offer to early childhood and primary education. By examining the utilization of television in educational practices in Ifo LGA, this study seeks to provide insights into how television can be leveraged to improve learning experiences and outcomes for young learners. Additionally, the research will explore the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating television into the educational curriculum at the nursery and primary school levels. Through the collection and analysis of data from interviews, observations, and document analysis, this study aims to offer a comprehensive overview of the current state of television integration in education in Ifo LGA.
