The aim of this research project is to develop novel drug delivery systems that can enhance the effectiveness of cancer treatment. Cancer remains a major health challenge worldwide, with existing treatment options often associated with significant side effects and limited efficacy. Novel drug delivery systems offer a promising approach to improve the delivery of anticancer drugs to target sites, thereby enhancing treatment outcomes while minimizing adverse effects. The thesis begins with a comprehensive introduction that discusses the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter two presents a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects related to drug delivery systems, cancer treatment, and current challenges in the field.
