Cancer remains one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide, necessitating the continuous exploration of innovative therapeutic strategies. In recent years, targeted drug delivery systems have emerged as a promising approach to enhance the efficacy and reduce the side effects of cancer treatments. This thesis focuses on the development and evaluation of novel drug delivery systems specifically designed for targeted cancer therapy. The primary objective is to investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of these systems in delivering anticancer agents selectively to tumor cells while sparing healthy tissues. The introduction provides a comprehensive overview of the background of the study, highlighting the current challenges in cancer therapy and the potential benefits of targeted drug delivery systems. The problem statement emphasizes the need for more precise and efficient treatment modalities to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
