The field of cancer therapy has witnessed significant advancements in recent years, with a growing focus on targeted drug delivery systems to improve treatment efficacy and reduce adverse effects. This thesis presents a comprehensive study on the development and evaluation of novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy. The primary objective of this research was to design and assess the effectiveness of innovative drug delivery platforms in delivering anticancer agents specifically to tumor sites, thereby enhancing treatment outcomes while minimizing off-target effects. The introductory chapter provides a detailed overview of the background of the study, highlighting the significance of targeted drug delivery in cancer therapy and the challenges associated with conventional chemotherapy. The problem statement underscores the need for more precise and efficient drug delivery systems to improve the therapeutic index of anticancer drugs.
