Cancer remains a significant health concern worldwide, with existing treatment modalities often associated with adverse side effects and limited efficacy. In recent years, the development of novel drug delivery systems has emerged as a promising approach to improve the therapeutic outcomes of cancer therapy. This thesis presents a comprehensive investigation into the design, development, and evaluation of innovative drug delivery systems for cancer therapy. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. The chapter sets the stage for understanding the rationale behind the development of novel drug delivery systems for cancer therapy. Chapter Two comprises a detailed literature review that explores the current landscape of drug delivery systems for cancer treatment.
