Cancer remains a significant global health challenge, necessitating the development of innovative therapeutic strategies to improve patient outcomes. This thesis focuses on the development and evaluation of novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy. The aim is to enhance the efficacy and specificity of anticancer agents while minimizing off-target effects and systemic toxicity. The research encompasses a comprehensive review of existing literature on drug delivery systems, identification of key challenges in current cancer treatment approaches, and the design and evaluation of novel drug delivery platforms. Chapter One provides an introduction to the field, offering background information on cancer therapy, discussing the existing problems in current treatment modalities, stating the objectives of the study, outlining the limitations and scope of the research, highlighting the significance of the study, and presenting the structure of the thesis. The chapter also includes definitions of key terms to provide clarity and context for the subsequent chapters.
