Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques play a crucial role in maximizing hydrocarbon extraction from mature oil fields. This comparative study evaluates and compares various EOR methods to enhance oil recovery efficiency in mature oil fields. The research focuses on understanding the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis in Chapter 1. Chapter 2 provides an in-depth literature review of ten key studies related to EOR techniques in mature oil fields. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology, including data collection methods, experimental procedures, and analytical techniques. Chapter 4 presents a detailed discussion of findings, comparing the effectiveness of different EOR methods in mature oil fields based on key performance indicators. Finally, Chapter 5 offers conclusions and a summary of the research findings, highlighting the most effective EOR techniques for maximizing oil recovery in mature oil fields. This study contributes to the existing knowledge by providing insights into the optimal EOR strategies for mature oil fields, ultimately aiding in sustainable energy production and resource management.
