Enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques play a crucial role in maximizing oil production from mature oil fields. This thesis focuses on evaluating and analyzing various EOR techniques to enhance oil recovery from mature oil fields, with a specific emphasis on their effectiveness, feasibility, and economic viability. The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, field studies, and data analysis to provide insights into the practical application of EOR techniques. Chapter one introduces the research topic, providing the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter two presents a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects related to EOR techniques for mature oil fields. Chapter three outlines the research methodology, including data collection methods, analysis techniques, and experimental design. The findings of the study are discussed in chapter four, highlighting the effectiveness and challenges of different EOR techniques in enhancing oil recovery from mature fields.
