Telemedicine, the remote delivery of healthcare services using telecommunications technology, has emerged as a promising approach to improve access to care and enhance disease management for pediatric asthma patients. This thesis investigates the effectiveness of telemedicine in managing pediatric asthma care, aiming to evaluate its impact on health outcomes, patient satisfaction, and healthcare utilization. The study begins with a comprehensive review of the literature on pediatric asthma management and telemedicine applications in healthcare. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of patient data with qualitative interviews to gather insights from healthcare providers and caregivers. The analysis includes ten key themes derived from the literature review, covering various aspects of telemedicine implementation in pediatric asthma care.
