Telemedicine has emerged as a promising solution to address the challenges of providing pediatric care in rural areas. This thesis investigates the effectiveness of telemedicine in enhancing access to quality pediatric healthcare services in rural communities. The study explores the utilization of telemedicine technologies to connect healthcare providers with pediatric patients in remote areas, aiming to improve health outcomes and reduce the barriers to accessing specialized care. The research begins with an introduction to the topic, providing background information on the growing importance of telemedicine in healthcare delivery. The problem statement highlights the limited access to pediatric care in rural areas and the potential of telemedicine to bridge this gap. The objectives of the study are to assess the impact of telemedicine on pediatric healthcare delivery, identify the limitations and challenges faced in implementing telemedicine in rural settings, and determine the scope and significance of telemedicine in improving pediatric care accessibility. A comprehensive review of the existing literature on telemedicine and pediatric healthcare sets the foundation for the research.
