Telemedicine has emerged as a promising solution to address the challenges in improving access to pediatric healthcare services. This thesis explores the utilization of telemedicine in enhancing access to healthcare services for children, with a focus on its potential benefits, limitations, and implications. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative data to analyze the impact of telemedicine on pediatric healthcare delivery. The introduction provides an overview of the growing importance of telemedicine in healthcare delivery and highlights the specific relevance of this technology in the pediatric context. The background of the study discusses the historical development of telemedicine and its applications in pediatric care. The problem statement identifies the existing gaps in pediatric healthcare access and the potential role of telemedicine in addressing these challenges. The objectives of the study aim to evaluate the effectiveness of telemedicine in improving access to pediatric healthcare services, assess the satisfaction levels of patients and healthcare providers with telemedicine interventions, and identify the barriers and facilitators to the implementation of telemedicine in pediatric care settings.
