Abstract
The utilization of telemedicine in pediatric care has gained significant attention due to its potential to improve access to healthcare services and enhance patient outcomes. This comparative study aims to assess the impact of telemedicine on pediatric patient care by comparing the effectiveness of telemedicine interventions with traditional in-person care modalities. The study will investigate key aspects such as patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and healthcare provider perspectives in both telemedicine and traditional care settings. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of patient data and qualitative interviews with healthcare providers and caregivers. A sample of pediatric patients and their caregivers will be recruited from both telemedicine and traditional care settings to gather insights into their experiences and perceptions of care delivery. Clinical data, including patient outcomes and healthcare utilization metrics, will be analyzed to compare the effectiveness of telemedicine with traditional care in pediatric settings. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the impact of telemedicine on pediatric patient care and contribute to the growing body of literature on telehealth interventions in healthcare. By evaluating the benefits and challenges of telemedicine in pediatric care, this research aims to inform healthcare policymakers, providers, and stakeholders on the potential role of telemedicine in improving access to quality healthcare services for pediatric populations. Overall, this study seeks to advance our understanding of the impact of telemedicine on pediatric patient care through a comprehensive comparative analysis. The results of this research will shed light on the effectiveness of telemedicine interventions in pediatric settings and provide recommendations for optimizing telehealth services to enhance patient outcomes and healthcare delivery in the field of pediatrics.
