Effective communication is essential for the smooth operation of any organization, including government establishments. Secretaries play a crucial role in facilitating communication within government offices. However, poor communication skills among secretaries can hinder the efficiency and effectiveness of operations within government establishments. This research project aims to investigate the possession of poor communication skills by secretaries working in government establishments. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys and interviews to collect data on the communication skills of secretaries. The research will focus on identifying common communication challenges faced by secretaries in government establishments, such as lack of clarity, ineffective listening, and poor written communication. By understanding these challenges, the study aims to provide insights into potential areas for improvement through training and development programs. Furthermore, the research will explore the impact of poor communication skills on the overall functioning of government offices. Inefficient communication can lead to misunderstandings, delays in decision-making, and decreased productivity. By highlighting these consequences, the study aims to underscore the importance of effective communication skills for secretaries in government establishments. The findings of this research project are expected to contribute to the existing literature on communication skills in the workplace, particularly within government organizations. By shedding light on the specific challenges faced by secretaries in government establishments, the study aims to provide valuable recommendations for enhancing communication practices within these offices. Ultimately, the goal of this research project is to raise awareness about the importance of communication skills for secretaries working in government establishments. By addressing the issue of poor communication skills and providing recommendations for improvement, the study aims to support the professional development of secretaries and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of government offices.

Thesis Overview

This project investigated on the topic Possession of poor communication skill by secretaries working in government Establishment (causes and Effects).  It has been observed that secretaries involve in poor communication because they lack knowledge of current communication gadgets and they do not take the time to study, practice and master these skills.  As a result of this possession of poor communication, most organization now employ linguists as secretaries.  In this case, secretaries become unemployed and seeking to join other professions.  To enhance effective communication, secretaries should develop their interest in the application of communication rules and improve their ability to communicate effectively.
