In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, information and communication technology (ICT) competencies have become essential for office managers in financial institutions to effectively manage their responsibilities. This research project aims to identify the specific ICT competencies that are required by office managers working in financial institutions. The study will explore the various areas of ICT that are crucial for office managers to possess in order to excel in their roles within the financial sector. The research will utilize a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. Semi-structured interviews will be conducted with office managers from different financial institutions to gather insights into the specific ICT competencies they consider essential for their roles. Additionally, a survey will be distributed to a larger sample of office managers in the financial sector to provide a broader perspective on the ICT skills and knowledge that are most in demand. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the existing body of knowledge on the ICT competencies required by office managers in financial institutions. By identifying these specific competencies, financial institutions will be better equipped to recruit, train, and support office managers in developing the necessary skills to navigate the digital workplace effectively.
