Thesis Abstract

Abstract
The impact of modern office equipment on secretarial staff in NNPC Enugu Depot was examined in this study. The research aimed to explore how the adoption of modern office equipment has influenced the roles and responsibilities of secretarial staff in the organization. A mixed-methods approach was employed, utilizing both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from secretarial staff members at NNPC Enugu Depot. The findings revealed that the introduction of modern office equipment has significantly transformed the work environment for secretarial staff. The use of advanced technologies such as computers, printers, scanners, and communication software has streamlined administrative tasks and increased efficiency in document management and communication processes. Secretarial staff reported feeling more empowered and capable of handling complex tasks with the support of these modern tools.
