Thesis Abstract

This study was conducted to executive the problem of records leakages. To attain these objectives, related literature was reviewed, data was collected through questionnaires which were distributed to the population sampled, mainly secretaries. The data collected were thereafter analyzed from where evidence was drawn and finding carried out. Conclusions arrived at by the researcher were that the increasing leakage of official secret is due to improper records. The record keeping are so important because it is difficult human memory to retain all the information after a long period of time. to safeguard the record the person who is in change should maintain his image both written and outside the organization. Finally, recommendations were made on the measures that would greatly enhance the good performances of managers in their respective office. Example, a good record management should be effective and efficient.
