This thesis explores the implementation of POCT in healthcare settings with the aim of improving patient care and outcomes. The study begins by providing an overview of the background of POCT, highlighting its significance in modern healthcare practices. The problem statement emphasizes the need to enhance patient care through timely and accurate diagnostic testing at the point of care. The objectives of the study are to assess the impact of POCT on patient care, evaluate the limitations and challenges associated with its implementation, and determine the scope of its application in various healthcare settings. The research methodology section outlines the approach taken to collect and analyze data, including a review of existing literature on POCT and its implications for patient care.
