Abstract
This research project aims to investigate the impact of online publication on the revenue and employment levels of The Punch newspaper in Nigeria. The shift towards online platforms in the media industry has brought about significant changes in the way newspapers operate and generate revenue. This study will focus on how The Punch, one of the leading newspapers in Nigeria, has adapted to the digital age and explore the effects of this transition on its financial performance and workforce. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of financial data and qualitative interviews with key stakeholders within the organization.
