Thesis Abstract

This research study is being carried out on “The Effect of Global Financial Crisis on Telecommunication Sector in Nigeria”. The research aims to identify how global financial crisis has affected the performance of telecommunication industry in Nigeria. This study intends to show the efforts of Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) in monitoring and managing the risk in the business enterprises during this period of financial crisis. The global financial crisis, the number of customers patronising the telecommunication service refuse to decline as more customers continue to patronised them. Recommendations are therefore provided to improve the services of telecommunication industry during this global financial crisis.
