This thesis investigates the phenomenon of code-switching in multilingual communities, aiming to explore the patterns, motivations, and implications of language alternation among speakers of multiple languages. This research project employs a qualitative approach to analyze code-switching behaviors in multilingual settings, focusing on the factors influencing language choice, the structural patterns of code-switching, and the communicative functions served by code-switching practices.
