Code-switching, the alternation between two or more languages within a single discourse, has been a subject of interest in linguistics due to its complexity and various patterns observed in bilingual speakers. This thesis aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of code-switching patterns in bilingual speakers, focusing on the factors influencing code-switching behavior, the types of code-switching observed, and the functions it serves in communication. The study adopts a qualitative research approach, utilizing both observation and interviews to gather data from a diverse group of bilingual speakers in different language contexts.
