Chapter One provides an introduction to the study, presenting the background of the research, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and key definitions of terms. The chapter establishes the foundation for investigating the impact of AI on library services and information retrieval. Chapter Two consists of a detailed literature review that covers ten essential topics related to AI in libraries and information science. The review synthesizes existing research, discusses key concepts, methodologies, and findings, and highlights emerging trends in the field.
