Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has revolutionized various industries, including the library sector, by offering efficient and automated solutions for managing library resources. This thesis explores the implementation of RFID technology in library management systems to enhance the overall library experience for users and librarians. The study investigates the background of RFID technology and its relevance in modern library settings, addressing the problem statement of manual library management processes and the need for technological intervention. The objectives of the study include assessing the impact of RFID technology on library operations, identifying challenges and limitations in its implementation, determining the scope of RFID application in library systems, and highlighting the significance of adopting RFID technology in libraries. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, a background study on RFID technology, a detailed problem statement, research objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and the structure of the thesis.
