This thesis explores the importance of employing effective digital preservation strategies for cultural heritage materials in libraries to ensure their long-term accessibility and usability. The study begins by providing an introduction to the topic, followed by a detailed background of the study that highlights the evolution of digital preservation practices in library settings. The problem statement emphasizes the challenges faced in preserving cultural heritage materials digitally, while the objectives of the study aim to investigate the best strategies for preserving these materials. The limitations of the study are acknowledged, including constraints related to time, resources, and access to certain materials. The scope of the study is defined to focus on digital preservation strategies specifically tailored for cultural heritage materials in libraries.
