This thesis examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on information retrieval processes in libraries. As technology continues to advance, AI has emerged as a powerful tool that has the potential to revolutionize how information is accessed and managed in library settings. The research aims to investigate how AI technologies, such as natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning, can enhance information retrieval efficiency and effectiveness within library systems. By exploring the integration of AI into library operations, this study seeks to provide insights into the benefits and challenges associated with this technological transformation. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and key definitions of terms.
