The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, interviews, and behavioral observations to gain insights into the unique characteristics of millennial information seekers and their impact on library services and resources. <br></p>

This study seeks to comprehensively explore the information seeking behavior of millennials in academic libraries, aiming to understand their preferences, challenges, and strategies when engaging with library services and resources.</div><div>The introduction of this research sets the stage by providing a contextual background of the study, outlining the significance of understanding millennials' information seeking behavior, and defining the key terms that underpin the investigation. It emphasizes the evolving nature of information access and utilization in academic libraries, driven by the characteristics and preferences of the millennial cohort. By establishing the scope and objectives of the study, the introduction aims to provide a clear framework for the subsequent exploration of millennials' information seeking behavior.</div><div>Central to this research is the investigation of the characteristics of millennial information seekers, encompassing their information preferences, behaviors, and the challenges they encounter in the process of seeking and utilizing information. Furthermore, the study aims to assess the utilization of library resources by millennials, including their engagement with digital and physical collections, information retrieval strategies, and their assessment of library services and resources. By examining the impact of millennials' information seeking behavior on library services, the research seeks to provide insights into adapting library services to meet millennials' needs, integrating technology to enhance user experience, and developing outreach and engagement strategies tailored to this demographic.</div><div>Ultimately, this study aspires to offer recommendations for enhancing millennial engagement in academic libraries, leveraging technology for information access, and anticipating future trends in information seeking behavior.
