The homepage serves as a critical platform for delivering library programs, services, and collections to users. In the digital age, the library homepage is often the first point of contact for patrons seeking information and resources. This study explores the multifaceted role of the library homepage as a central hub for connecting users to various library offerings. By examining the design, content, and functionality of library homepages, this research aims to understand how libraries can optimize their digital presence to better serve their communities. Through a comprehensive literature review, this paper identifies key elements that contribute to an effective library homepage, such as intuitive navigation, prominent search features, and clear communication of services. The study also delves into the challenges faced by libraries in maintaining an engaging and user-friendly homepage, including limited resources, technological constraints, and evolving user expectations. By addressing these challenges and leveraging best practices in web design and user experience, libraries can enhance the usability and accessibility of their homepages. Furthermore, this research investigates the impact of the library homepage on user engagement, satisfaction, and information retrieval.
