However, in the era of globalization, these libraries face a myriad of challenges that impact their ability to effectively serve their users. This research project aims to explore the challenges that university libraries encounter in the context of globalization. The study will examine how globalization influences the collection development strategies of university libraries, the provision of access to diverse resources, and the adoption of technology to enhance services. Additionally, the research will investigate the impact of globalization on library budgets and staffing, as well as the evolving role of librarians in the digital age. Globalization has transformed the landscape of higher education, leading to an increased demand for access to international resources and collaborations. University libraries are tasked with acquiring and providing access to a wide range of materials from around the world to meet the needs of their diverse user base. This poses challenges in terms of licensing agreements, copyright issues, and language barriers that impact the acquisition and delivery of global resources. The study will delve into how university libraries navigate these challenges and explore strategies to enhance global resource sharing. Moreover, the integration of technology in library services has become essential in the digital age.
