Indigenous publishing faces a myriad of challenges that hinder the preservation and dissemination of indigenous knowledge and cultural heritage. This research delves into the complexities surrounding indigenous publishing, focusing on issues such as cultural appropriation, limited access to publishing resources, language barriers, and the struggle for authentic representation. The lack of indigenous voices in mainstream publishing further exacerbates the challenges faced by indigenous publishers, as they strive to navigate the industry while maintaining cultural integrity. Through an exploration of case studies and interviews with indigenous publishers, authors, and community members, this research sheds light on the obstacles that impede the growth and sustainability of indigenous publishing initiatives. By highlighting these challenges and proposing potential solutions, this research aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on the importance of indigenous publishing in preserving diverse cultural narratives and promoting indigenous voices in the global literary landscape.
