This thesis explores the implementation of digital libraries to enhance access to information for Library Science students. The rapid advancement of technology has revolutionized the way information is accessed and managed in library settings. Digital libraries have emerged as a powerful tool in providing convenient and efficient access to a vast array of resources. This study aims to investigate the impact of digital libraries on information access for Library Science students, focusing on the benefits, challenges, and implications of their implementation. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two conducts a comprehensive literature review on digital libraries, information access, and their relevance to Library Science education. The chapter explores ten key themes related to digital libraries and their role in enhancing information access for students in this field. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations.
