This thesis explores the impact of technology on information literacy skills within the context of Library Science Education. Information literacy is a crucial skill that empowers individuals to locate, evaluate, and effectively use information in various formats. With the rapid advancement of technology, the traditional methods of information retrieval and dissemination have been revolutionized, presenting both opportunities and challenges for educators and learners in the field of library science. Chapter One provides an introduction to the study, highlighting the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. The definitions of key terms relevant to the study are also presented to provide a clear understanding of the concepts discussed throughout the thesis. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review that examines existing research on the impact of technology on information literacy skills in Library Science Education.
