The digital age has revolutionized the way information is accessed, processed, and disseminated, leading to a significant impact on information literacy skills among Library Science students. This thesis aims to assess the impact of digital technologies on the information literacy skills of students studying Library Science. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the study, including the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed the landscape of information access and requires students to possess enhanced information literacy skills to effectively navigate and utilize the vast amount of information available. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review that delves into ten key areas related to information literacy, digital technologies, and their impact on Library Science education. The review explores the evolution of information literacy, the role of digital technologies in education, current trends in digital literacy skills, and the challenges faced by students in acquiring and applying information literacy skills in a digital environment.
