The study will delve into the multifaceted contributions of libraries in safeguarding historical documents, artifacts, and oral histories, as well as their efforts in disseminating knowledge about local heritage to the community. By employing a mixed-methods approach, the research seeks to analyze the strategies employed by libraries in preserving and promoting local history and heritage, assess their impact on community engagement and historical awareness, and provide recommendations for enhancing the role of libraries in this domain. <br></p>
