Abstract
This thesis focuses on the optimization of green synthesis methods for pharmaceutical intermediates in industrial chemistry. The pharmaceutical industry plays a crucial role in providing essential medicines for the global population. However, the conventional synthesis methods used in pharmaceutical production often involve hazardous chemicals and generate high levels of waste, leading to environmental pollution and health risks. Therefore, there is a growing need to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly synthesis routes for pharmaceutical intermediates. In this study, various green synthesis methods will be explored and optimized for the production of pharmaceutical intermediates. The research will investigate the use of benign solvents, catalysts, and reaction conditions to reduce the environmental impact of pharmaceutical synthesis processes. The goal is to develop efficient and cost-effective green synthesis routes that maintain high product quality while minimizing waste generation and energy consumption.
