The global outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly transformed the way organizations operate, leading to an increased adoption of remote work practices. This study investigates the impact of remote work on employee engagement and performance in the post-COVID era, focusing on a case study of XYZ Company. The research aims to provide valuable insights into how remote work arrangements influence employee engagement levels and performance outcomes within the organization. The thesis begins with a comprehensive introduction outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects related to remote work, employee engagement, and performance. This section synthesizes existing theories, frameworks, and empirical studies to establish a theoretical foundation for the research. Chapter Three delineates the research methodology, including the research design, sampling strategy, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques. This chapter also discusses ethical considerations, reliability, and validity to ensure the rigor and credibility of the study. Chapter Four presents the findings of the study, analyzing the impact of remote work on employee engagement and performance based on the data collected from XYZ Company.
