Abstract
This thesis examines the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on household income in rural areas. Sustainable agricultural practices play a crucial role in enhancing food security, improving livelihoods, and promoting environmental sustainability. The study focuses on rural areas where agriculture is the primary source of income for households. The research aims to assess the extent to which the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices influences household income levels and explores the factors that contribute to the successful implementation of these practices. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis and qualitative interviews with farmers and key stakeholders in the agricultural sector. A sample of households in selected rural areas will be surveyed to collect data on their agricultural practices, income levels, and socio-economic characteristics. In-depth interviews will be conducted with farmers, agricultural extension officers, and other relevant stakeholders to gain insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable agriculture.
