Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on rural household income, focusing on a specific region. Sustainable agriculture is increasingly recognized as a critical approach to ensuring food security, environmental conservation, and economic development in rural areas. The study employs a case study methodology to explore the relationship between sustainable agriculture practices and rural household income in the selected region. The research is structured around four main objectives to examine the current status of sustainable agriculture practices in the region, to analyze the economic impact of these practices on rural household income, to identify the challenges and limitations faced in implementing sustainable agriculture, and to propose recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of sustainable agriculture initiatives in improving rural household income. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, background information, problem statement, research objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive review of the existing literature on sustainable agriculture practices, rural household income, and the nexus between the two concepts. The chapter also discusses the limitations and potential biases of the research methodology.
