Sustainable farming practices play a crucial role in ensuring food security, environmental conservation, and economic development, particularly in rural communities. This thesis presents a comprehensive assessment of sustainable farming practices in a specific rural community through a detailed case study. The study aims to evaluate the current farming methods and their impact on the environment, economy, and community well-being. By examining the challenges and opportunities faced by farmers in adopting sustainable practices, the research provides valuable insights into the potential for enhancing agricultural sustainability in rural settings. Chapter One introduces the research topic, providing background information on sustainable farming practices and outlining the objectives of the study. The problem statement highlights the importance of sustainable agriculture in rural communities, emphasizing the need for effective strategies to address environmental degradation and food insecurity. The limitations and scope of the study are also discussed, along with the significance of the research and the structure of the thesis. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review of sustainable farming practices, covering key concepts, theories, and empirical studies related to agricultural sustainability in rural areas.
