This thesis examines the Assessment of Sustainable Livelihoods and Income Diversification Strategies in Rural Communities, focusing on the challenges and opportunities faced by individuals in rural areas in diversifying their income sources to achieve sustainable livelihoods. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from rural communities in order to explore the various strategies employed by individuals to diversify their income and improve their livelihoods. The introduction provides a background to the study, highlighting the importance of sustainable livelihoods in rural areas and the need for income diversification strategies to enhance economic resilience. The problem statement identifies the gaps in existing literature regarding income diversification in rural communities and underscores the significance of addressing these gaps.
