Diplomacy plays a crucial role in resolving international conflicts, serving as a tool for communication, negotiation, and peaceful resolution. This thesis examines the significance of diplomacy in resolving international conflicts through a case study of the Cuban Missile Crisis. The crisis, which occurred in October 1962, marked a critical moment in the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. Through an analysis of historical documents, diplomatic correspondence, and scholarly literature, this research investigates the diplomatic strategies employed by key actors during the Cuban Missile Crisis and their impact on conflict resolution.
