This thesis focuses on exploring the essential role of diplomacy in resolving international conflicts, with a specific case study of the Cuban Missile Crisis. The research delves into the historical context of the Cuban Missile Crisis and examines how diplomatic efforts played a crucial role in preventing a catastrophic escalation of tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union. Through a comprehensive literature review, the study analyzes various diplomatic strategies employed during the crisis and evaluates their effectiveness in achieving a peaceful resolution. Furthermore, the research methodology section outlines the approach taken to investigate the diplomatic processes and negotiations that took place during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Primary and secondary sources, including official documents, speeches, and scholarly works, are analyzed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the diplomatic dynamics involved in resolving this intense international conflict.
