Climate change is a global phenomenon that has been increasingly impacting various aspects of the environment, including coastal erosion rates. This thesis focuses on investigating the impact of climate change on coastal erosion rates in a specific region. The study aims to analyze the relationship between climate change factors and coastal erosion, with a particular emphasis on understanding how rising sea levels, changing precipitation patterns, and extreme weather events contribute to coastal erosion. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms.
