Coastal erosion is a significant environmental issue exacerbated by climate change, leading to adverse impacts on coastal communities and ecosystems. This thesis investigates the impact of climate change on coastal erosion rates in a specific region, aiming to enhance understanding of the processes involved and provide valuable insights for mitigation and adaptation strategies. The study focuses on a coastal area that has experienced accelerated erosion due to changing climatic conditions, with the aim of quantifying the extent of erosion and identifying key drivers of change. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten relevant topics related to coastal erosion, climate change impacts, mitigation strategies, and research methodologies. Chapter Three details the research methodology, including data collection methods, analysis techniques, sampling procedures, and tools used to assess erosion rates and climate change impacts. The chapter also discusses the challenges and limitations encountered during the research process.
