Climate change is a pressing global issue that has significant implications for various environmental processes, including coastal erosion. This thesis focuses on analyzing the impact of climate change on coastal erosion in a specific region, aiming to understand the complex interactions between climatic factors and coastal dynamics. The study area selected for this research is the coastal region of XYZ, known for its vulnerability to erosion due to rising sea levels and changing weather patterns. The research begins with a comprehensive review of existing literature on climate change, coastal erosion, and their interconnectedness. This literature review highlights the current understanding of how climate change influences coastal erosion processes, providing a theoretical framework for the empirical investigation that follows. Methodologically, this research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of historical climate data with qualitative assessment of coastal erosion patterns. Data collection involves the compilation of long-term climate records, coastal topography surveys, and interviews with local stakeholders to gather insights into the observed changes in the region.
