**Abstract
** Urban green spaces play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life in metropolitan cities by providing environmental, social, and economic benefits. This research project focuses on analyzing the relationship between urban green spaces and air quality in a metropolitan city. The study aims to investigate how the presence, distribution, and characteristics of green spaces within urban areas influence air quality and mitigate air pollution. The research methodology involves a combination of quantitative analysis, spatial mapping techniques, and air quality monitoring to assess the impact of urban green spaces on air quality parameters such as particulate matter (PM), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and ozone (O3). A comprehensive literature review provides insights into the existing knowledge on the topic, highlighting the importance of green spaces in urban environments for air quality improvement. The findings of the study reveal that urban green spaces have a significant positive impact on air quality in metropolitan cities.
