Climate change poses significant challenges to coastal communities worldwide, threatening their socio-economic development, environmental sustainability, and overall well-being. This thesis investigates the multifaceted impacts of climate change on coastal communities, focusing on the vulnerability, adaptation strategies, and resilience-building efforts in the face of changing environmental conditions. Through a comprehensive literature review, the study examines the existing knowledge on climate change impacts, adaptation measures, and policy frameworks related to coastal communities. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, problem statement, research objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter 2 presents a detailed literature review encompassing ten key components that elucidate the current understanding of climate change impacts on coastal communities, including rising sea levels, extreme weather events, coastal erosion, and loss of biodiversity. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology employed in this study, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and analytical tools used to investigate the impact of climate change on coastal communities.
