Abstract
The impact of climate change on coastal erosion is a pressing issue that poses significant challenges for coastal regions worldwide. This thesis investigates the specific case of coastal erosion in a particular region, aiming to understand the complex interplay between climate change factors and coastal dynamics. The study begins with a comprehensive review of relevant literature on climate change, coastal erosion, and the interactions between these phenomena. The research methodology involves a combination of field surveys, data analysis, and modeling techniques to assess the extent and severity of coastal erosion in the study area. The findings reveal a direct correlation between climate change indicators, such as rising sea levels and increased storm intensity, and the accelerated rates of coastal erosion observed in the region. Through detailed mapping and analysis, the study identifies vulnerable coastal areas at high risk of erosion and provides recommendations for sustainable coastal management strategies. The results highlight the urgent need for proactive adaptation measures to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change on coastal regions.
