Abstract
Climate change poses a significant threat to coastal areas worldwide, leading to increased erosion rates and changing shoreline dynamics. This study focuses on investigating the impact of climate change on coastal erosion patterns in a specific region, aiming to provide valuable insights for coastal management strategies. Through a detailed case study approach, this research examines the interactions between climate change drivers and coastal erosion processes, considering both natural and anthropogenic factors. The study begins with an overview of the current state of knowledge on climate change impacts on coastal erosion, highlighting the importance of understanding these dynamics in a specific regional context. By analyzing historical erosion trends and climate data, the research aims to identify patterns and correlations that can shed light on the underlying mechanisms driving coastal erosion in the study area. Methodologically, a combination of remote sensing techniques, GIS analysis, field surveys, and statistical modeling will be employed to assess coastal erosion rates, shoreline changes, and climate variables over a specific timeframe. By integrating these various data sources, the study seeks to quantify the extent of coastal erosion and its relationship to climate change factors such as sea-level rise, storm events, and changing precipitation patterns.
