Abstract
Coastal erosion is a significant environmental issue exacerbated by the effects of climate change, threatening coastal communities and ecosystems worldwide. This study focuses on assessing the impact of climate change on coastal erosion in a specific region to enhance understanding and inform sustainable management strategies. The research methodology involved a comprehensive literature review, field surveys, and data analysis to examine the dynamics of coastal erosion and its relationship to changing climate patterns. Findings revealed a direct correlation between climate change indicators and increasing rates of coastal erosion, highlighting the urgent need for adaptive measures. The study contributes valuable insights into the complex interactions between climate change and coastal erosion, emphasizing the importance of holistic approaches to coastal management. Recommendations include the implementation of nature-based solutions, community engagement, and policy interventions to mitigate the impacts of climate change on coastal areas. This thesis underscores the crucial role of interdisciplinary research and stakeholder collaboration in addressing the challenges posed by coastal erosion in the context of a changing climate.
