Climate change is a pressing global issue that has been linked to various environmental challenges, including coastal erosion. This thesis investigates the specific impact of climate change on coastal erosion in a particular region, focusing on understanding the processes involved and identifying potential strategies for mitigation and adaptation. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining field surveys, remote sensing techniques, and statistical analyses to assess the extent and severity of coastal erosion in the study area. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, defining the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review that explores existing research on climate change, coastal erosion processes, and mitigation strategies. The chapter synthesizes findings from previous studies and identifies key gaps in the literature that this research aims to address. Chapter Three details the research methodology, including data collection methods, sampling techniques, and analytical procedures.
